On July 12th, Rain revealed a picture of himself with his dancers, wearing matching t-shirts saying ‘kwenam’. ‘Kwenam’ refers to a guy that gives off a good feeling.

Rain admitted to his ‘kwenam’ status as his shirt said, ‘best kwenam’.

He also posted a picture of the back of their shirts. Rain’s shirt stated, “That’s enough, the trend is kid Jung“. His dancers’ shirts from left to right say, “Do I look like the 1st“, “A little young, the 2nd“, “With this face, I’m satisfied with 3rd“, “I at least made it to the middle, 4th“, “Most young looking, 6th“.

Fans who saw these shirts said, “Of course, the trend is kid Jung. You are 100% a kwenam“, “From the back you guys just look like middle aged men,” etc.

Meanwhile, Rain will be opening his THE BEST SHOW concert at the Busan BEXCO on August 13th and 14th and will be one of his last concerts before enlistment.

These two beautiful actresses were caught on-screen in the same striped t-shirt. Although it’s the same, they evoke very different styles through the fit of the shirt.

Hwang Jung Eum wore this striped t-shirt in MBC’s “Can You Hear My Heart?”. She styles the T-shirt with a pair of jeans for a classic everyday look that shows off her slender figure.

In contrast, Yoon Eun Hye wears a much larger version of the t-shirt for a baggy comfortable look. This style was seen in SBS’s “Lie to Me”.

Different sizes of the same T-shirt make quite a difference in style, as we can see from comparing the two actresses.

Personally, I favor Yoon Eun Hye’s style instead. For T-shirts with cute designs such as this, I prefer to wear them loose and paired with skinny jeans or leggings.

The t-shirt is from Korean brand HUM and retails for about $24 USD.

IU seemed pretty happy to pose with her Hello Kitty doll, as she smiled brightly for the camera despite being eliminated on SBS’s ‘Kiss & Cry‘ last week.

The idol wrote on her me2day, “I’m in Japan! At the airport a fan gave me a Hello Kitty towel and doll! Thank you! I’ll return after giving a good performance! I should wash up and go to sleep~ Everyone sleep well. Thank you and sorry to those who cheered me on until the end for ‘Kiss & Cry’! Chu.

In the picture, IU is snapped lying on her bed while holding the Hello Kitty doll. Her ‘apple hairstyle’ and bright smile make her look even more lovable.

Netizens commented, “You’re so lovely” and “Thank goodness you seem to be your bright self.”

T-ara’s Hyomin and Eunjung melted their fans’ hearts with some sel-cas they took while in their stage outfits for their comeback track, “Roly Poly”.

On July 2nd, Hyomin wrote on her Twitter, “Roly Poly, you little punk. You really are sweet and fresh”, and posted three close-up shots of herself with fellow member Eunjung.

In the pictures, the two can been seen eating grapes from what looks like packed lunches from their fans. While Hyomin sported a cute, purple polka-dotted top with a matching floral skirt, Eunjung flaunted a green printed singlet with her hair slightly pinned to the side, giving off a slightly sporty vibe.

Fans commented, “Hyomin and Eunjung’s expressions are really sweet and fresh” and “The retro fashion is rising again.”

After a long hiatus, Alex is back with his second album, titled “Just Like Me”, and is performing his title track, “Can’t Be Crazy“, on today’s episode of KBS’s Music Bank.

The album is the result of three years of hard work, and features the maturity his musical style has undergone in the process. Known for his smooth, romantic image, the tracks aim to bring out a bit of a masculine charm.

His title track, “Can’t Be Crazy”, is the work of famous composer Lel and is about a sad story of an abandoned man approaching his lost love once more with wounds still in his heart. As it features a power, addictive melody, the song will surely be on repeat for music fans.

The fans' efforts to see actor Lee Min-ho is truly painstaking.

Lee Min-ho secretly entered Thailand for the shoot of new SBS drama 'City Hunter' on the 25th. However, despite the early hour of 6 AM in the morning, the fans somehow got information that he was coming and gathered at the airport.

Fans from not only Thailand but nearby Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia came and crowded the Thailand Suvarnabhumi Airport.

When Lee Min-ho was leaving for Thailand, the fog and snow delayed his flight from Incheon to Thailand for 4 hours and at the Thailand border there was a 7 degree earthquake.

Also, the actors and staff were going to enter Thailand in secret but they were all surprised at the unexpected up rise.

One of the locals said, 'The fans waiting from the 24th afternoon to see Lee Min-ho coming on the 25th. He worried about news of him getting out and causing a fuss but the fans were all in order to meet him'.

The drama staff and Lee Min-ho greeted the fans friendly and with a smile, and also said to a local staff, 'Hopefully there has been no casualties from the earthquake, it's relieving to see everyone so happy. Please take care of the fans so that they can return safely'.

Meanwhile, Lee Min-ho will be in Thailand until the beginning of next month to shoot the drama 'City Hunter' which will first be broadcast on the 25th of May.

Actress Yoon Eun Hye and actor Won Bin have come together for a new CF with ‘True Eco Beyond‘.

Yoon Eun Hye makes a refreshing change from being a glamorous model to a ‘natural’ spirit. Meanwhile, Won Bin brings his usual cool charm to the scene, and shares a mysterious connection with Yoon Eun Hye. In the CF, Won Bin says,

Four-member female vocal group, Bubble Sisters, has recently jumped onto the same bandwagon as Byun Jin Sup and Bobby Kim by signing with Oscar Entertainment.

A representative from Oscar Entertainment recently stated, “We’ll take care of their musicality so that they can become the nation’s leading female vocal group…[Through them] people will come to know the new horizons of female vocal groups. “

Bubble Sisters’ leader, Suh Seung Hee–who also happens to be a singer/songwriter–said, “I’m happy to become a part of a family with my fellow senior and junior musicians…We’ll recompense our fans with good music.”

Bubble Sister debuted back in January of 2003 with members Suh Seung Hee, Kang Hyun Jung, Kim Min Jung, and Choi Ah Rom. They quickly received recognition for their perfect harmony with songs like “Like A Fool“, “Plea“, “Loved Like That, Laughed Like That“, and “Love Dust.”

After releasing his music video for "Please " yesterday SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong followed up with some album jacket photos for his first solo album, “Break Down“!

The singer/actor is known for his smooth look, but his image for “Please” is very powerful and masculine, leavings fans in a state of curiosity over what his performance style would be like.

His mini-album contains a total of six tracks, including an intro titled “Let Me Go“, and of course, his R&B dance track,”Please”. The title track, “Break Down”, is also the work of Ken Lewis, who has experience working with Eminem, Kanye West, and Usher. It’s described to have electric brass sounds with a synthesizer that elevates it into a dynamic, urban house-style track.

On June 2nd, 4minute’s HyunA uploaded a series of photos along with the tweet, “Ahhh, makeup is a fascinating thing.”

After she finished applying her makeup, she took multiple sel-ca shots with various facial expressions.

Netizens came the pictures couldn’t help but quip, “Mirror Mirror, who’s the prettiest of them all?”. Others commented, “Hyuna looks prettier without makeup”, “She should have uploaded a picture of herself before she put on makeup”, “There’s no goddess like her,” and “How can we be satisfied with only one selca session of her sparkling skin.”

Meanwhile, 4minute finished their promotions for their first album, ‘4minutes Left‘. They’ll get to enjoy a slight break before going to Japan for their overseas promotions. HyunA is also working on her solo album, so stay tuned!

Singer Jisun is finally returning to the music scene after being away for two years! She recently released a few album jacket photos along with a teaser, and netizens are gushing over her ‘goddess’ look.

With her nonchalant facial expression, Jisun gives off a mysterious goddess vibe. Some are even comparing her to Venus because of her wavy, red hair and milky skin.

Jisun wrote and composed the lyrics herself for her title songBlow Wind Blow‘. The song is almost like a letter, in which the person has to let go of their loved one; the addition of acoustics give a comfortable and sweet feel to it.

Those who’ve seen the photos and teaser showed an explosive response, as they praised, “There’s no other Venus like her,” “She’s beautiful!”, “I’m really anticipating this album,” and “I want to hurry and listen to Jisun’s voice”.

Biography

Jeon Ji-hyun (b. October 30, 1981) first became well-known as a commercial model and as a TV actress. Although she made her film debut in the little-watched White Valentine in 1999, it was not until later in the year when she was featured in an advertisement for an audio system that she became a popular sensation. The dancing and attitude expressed in the ad made her into an icon for Koreans in their late teens and early twenties.

After continuing her TV and modelling career, Jeon made her first well-publicized film appearance in late 2000 with Il Mare. A handsomely-shot melodrama set on Kanghwa Island, the film did respectably well at the box office (despite opening on the same day as JSA) and solidified her status as a star.

Jeon"s breakout film was comedy My Sassy Girl, which became a huge hit both in Korea and throughout Asia with its tale of a gullible college student and his slightly unhinged girlfriend. The film spent two weeks at #1 in Hong Kong, and turned her into Korea"s most recognizable star in the Chinese-language market. Two years then passed before she appeared in her next film, an "occult thriller" titled The Uninvited which wowed critics but failed to catch on with viewers. Throughout this time she was a constant presence in TV ads and on billboards in Korea and also in other Asian countries.

2004 saw her return to the big screen in another film by Kwak Jae-yong, the director of My Sassy Girl. Windstruck cast her in the role of a policewoman, but many viewers felt it was too similar to My Sassy Girl. There were also signs that her popularity had started to suffer because of overexposure in advertisements. Nonetheless, Windstruck became the best-performing film ever in Japan, where My Sassy Girl was not as well known.

Jeon"s next project Daisy teamed her with Jung Woo-sung (who frequently appears together with her in advertisements), and drew attention for its 100% location shooting in the Netherlands, and for using the Hong Kong director Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs). Nonetheless the film disappointed at the box-office and drew weak appraisals from viewers.

In late 2006 it was announced the Jeon would be making her long-predicted jump to Hollywood to take the lead role in Blood: The Last Vampire. The international co-production is the live-action adaptation of a popular Japanese anime.

Lee Jun Ki (left) in King and the ClownLee Jun Ki started out as a model and held minor roles in Korean dramas. In 2001, he first appeared in the television commercial for the So Basic fashion label.

Acting
His first drama appearance was as a dissatisfied teenager in the KBS drama What should I do? He later appeared with a minor role in Star"s Echo, a drama by MBC and Fuji TV in 2004.

In 2005, his first major acting role came in The King and the Clown (왕의 남자), where he took on the role of a feminine-appearing entertainer forced to satisfy King Yeonsan"s sexual and emotional cravings taking place the late 15th century. The film became one of the highest grossing South Korean-made movies in South Korea, unexpectedly replacing Taegukgi as the most-watched film in Korean history with over 12.3 million viewers, despite the low amount Lee was paid of just over $100,000 for the role.[1][2] Lee was against the halving of screen quotas in South Korea that allows foreign films to be shown in theaters on certain days, while domestic films are alloted another amount of days. He believed that without the screen quotas, The King and the Clown would not have been as successful in competing against foreign films.[3][4] He earned many Best Male New Comer awards for his role as Gong-gil in The King and the Clown in 2006.

His next role was as the supporting character on the Korean drama SBS"s My Girl together with Miss Korea, Park Si Yeon, Lee Da Hae, and Lee Dong Wook. His movie, Fly, Daddy, Fly which was released as well, garnered much attention and media coverage due to Lee"s overwhelming popularity.[5]

Lee"s popularity overseas is also noted, where in the 19th Tokyo International Film Festival, he was recognized as a top star.[6] In China, Lee was the only Korean among 300 Asian stars invited to attend a Chinese television show which celebrated the Chinese New Year[7]. During the Shanghai International Film Festival, Lee was approached by acclaimed Chinese director Chen Kaige, who proposed that the two should make a film together in China, which Lee thought was a great idea. "I"d love to make the movie if the script is good and the character is right," Lee said.[8]

Lee"s 2007 joint Korea-Japan film movie, Virgin Snow with Japanese actress Aoi Miyazaki, which he plays a Korean university student also garnered him much attention[9] and Lee held his first meeting with his Japanese fans on March 10, 2007 in Osaka, Japan. The next day he talked about his acting career during a talk show that was recorded at the Swiss Hotel in Osaka later.[10] Virgin Snow prove to be a success and was able to place 9th at the box office[11], setting a record for a Korean film released in Japan.

Currently, Lee"s action drama, Time Between Dog And Wolf is airing on MBC. It would be his first drama ever as the lead role. Though ratings were low when it first started, the ratings gradually increase, getting second and third on some nights.
